Level 1 Begins!

Hi! My name is Nyasha. I am a graphic designer based in Trinidad and Tobago. I am embarking on an epic quest to reach Level 50 (500 XP) for my creative journey. There will be weekly creative challenges to level up my creativity, unlock new artistic abilities, and reignite my passion for art.

Currently, for my BA in Graphic Design, there is a course called Social Media Communications, where I have to work towards a goal using social media. It took me close to 2 weeks of brainstorming, but I’ve decided to merge my love for art and creativity with the digital world. I want making art to become a regular weekly habit instead of a chore—injecting some fun and uniqueness into my creative process! There will be a mix of nostalgic hobbies and new creative activities. I am inspired by PC games, particularly Stardew Valley and role-playing games (RPGs). I’m bringing a gamified twist to this artistic journey. I’ll be completing tasks for XP, with each level requiring just 10 XP to conquer—and there will be rewards along the way!

I am looking forward to seeing if I gain a creative routine by the end of the semester and improve any skills!
